Vampire bachelor Samson can't get it up anymore. Not even his shrink can help him. That changes when the lovely mortal auditor Delilah tumbles into his arms after a seemingly random attack. Suddenly there's nothing wrong with his hydraulics - that is, as long as Delilah is the woman in his arms. His scruples about taking Delilah to bed vanish when his shrink suggests it's the only way to cure his problem. Thinking all he needs is one night with her, Samson indulges in a night of pleasure and passion. However, another attack on Delilah and a dead body later, and Samson has his hands full: not only with trying to hide the fact he's a vampire, but also with finding out what secrets Delilah harbors for somebody to want her harm.

Review by Paulina Woods

When I first received my nook I was really excited to start downloading books. One of the first I came across was Samson's Lovely Mortal and it blew my mind. First I have never heard of a vamp needing to see a shrink and than when I found out why I had to laugh. It has to suck to be so old and not have the ability to find pleasure. This is the dilemma that Samson finds himself in and no matter what anyone does…nothing happens. Enters Delilah. Yes I know I got a chuckle out of the names too. The way they meet is any girls worse dream, to meet a god looking like a wet dog. Meeting Delilah was good news for Samson because he equipment started working, but only around her. His shrink had the perfect solution; screw her until his equipment is working perfectly. To add to the drama Delilah is on someones hit list.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. This was one of those books I was willing to call out of work just to finish. If you have never read anything by Tina Folsom I would highly recommend this being your first read.
