Wow, I can't believe it's almost been a year since I hit publish for the first time. In this time I have had so many ups and downs I am surprised my head is still on straight. The one thing that keeps me going is knowing I will rise above anything the world toss at me. Today marks a new direction in my life and I can not wait to share it with everyone. If you have been following my blog you know that it's mostly a review site but I want to get away from random author post and start posting about things that matter to me.
So what do you have to look forward to? How about a new blog post every week, author spotlights, giveaways, sneak peeks at my up coming books and a look at artist, grapic designers, cover artist, musicians. You get the picture, right?
For those who haven't been following me here is a little about who I am:
I started the journey from blogger to author in late 2014 and I have to say it has been a very interesting journey.
I guess when I first started I thought it was going to be easy. I write a book, people read it, I write another and more people read it. Not as easy as that. Six months after writing my first book I had to pull both off the market and rethink my approach.
Book one (Stone Guardian) is going through it's second round of edits and should be released in a few weeks. Book two (Captive Guardian) is in self edits and should go to editor in a few weeks. I seriously wanted to have book three (Duel Guardian) out already but I also want to produce the kind of work people want to read and talk about in book clubs. So I am going to start taking more time to write and edit and less time trying to push my books out fast.
One step in the right direction was starting this blog. I need a place where I am accountable to others for my actions. I want people to keep asking me when a book will finish, who's story is next and what the hell was I thinking killing off that character. I want to meet others who love when their heroes are not normal.
So check in every Thursday and I will have a new blog of some type. It may be a author spotlight or a character interview. Never know I just might do a video review or read a chapter of my book. Engage, get to know me and together we can watch as my imagination expands and explodes into the world
