Nevada Baylor is faced with the most challenging case of her detective career-a suicide mission to bring in a suspect in a volatile case. Nevada isn’t sure she has the chops. Her quarry is a Prime, the highest rank of magic user, who can set anyone and anything on fire.

Then she’s kidnapped by Connor “Mad” Rogan-a darkly tempting billionaire with equally devastating powers. Torn between wanting to run or surrender to their overwhelming attraction, Nevada must join forces with Rogan to stay alive.

Rogan’s after the same target, so he needs Nevada. But she’s getting under his skin, making him care about someone other than himself for a change. And, as Rogan has learned, love can be as perilous as death, especially in the magic world.

Burn For Me

Review by Paulina Woods

This book will keep you on your toes.

Jumping from third person to first person kind of threw me for a loop but then I was all in. I loved Nevada and her kickass personality. Even when she was in danger she would find some way of making sure she came out on top. Her dedication to her family and her honor is something many people say they have but fall short.

Connor is just crazy. If he was a real person I would seriously petition the government, yes the government to have him committed as soon as possible. I couldn’t even find him sexy because he would kill me, for no other reason but I got in his way.

This is an action pack book that takes us into the future where humans have unlocked their magical abilities. Society is no longer fun by just money and the higher your power the better off you are.

I personally can’t wait to see what happens. Warning; this book doesn’t end the way most would expect. I CANNOT wait for the next.
